The book  that I’m going to be talking about is “Give it to me, it’s mine!”  written  and illustrated by… Chantal van den Heuvel and Nancy Pierret.

It is about when Sam and his sister used to argue over a teddy bear or a watering can or a coat but then Sam’s little sister went into the woods cause she was upset with Sam and she got lost. Sam never knew and he started to get worried about her. Then he went into the woods to look for her but he got lost too. Then they finally found each other but they were still lost in the woods. They kept on wandering in the woods to find home and stopped to have a rest. While they were resting they saw a star but bigger than the others , and they knew it was their mum with a flashlight. They ran towards their mum and were so lucky they didn’t get lost. They went back home and Sam finally started sharing instead of being selfish.

I like it because it teaches you to share more and to be selfish less. It also has very good words so you can picture the book in your head. The illustrations are pretty good and very decorative.

I would recommend to tell this story to everyone so they will learn a lesson to  share rather  than to be selfish. They will also maybe think that the story is a pretty good story. I would also recommend to tell this story to kids that might have brothers or sisters or both. I might even tell this story to my little brother, cause he does not know what sharing means yet so I’ll tell him one day.

That’s why this story is a good book to review.
